Sargodha is the region that is located in the west of Punjab that is province of Pakistan in that area there are many students. In the past after the emergence of Pakistan the educational system was under the University of Punjab and it was controlling all education but then with time changes were made and independent board was formed that is named as board of intermediate and secondary education Sargodha. This board was formed in the year 1968 under the ordinance number VII of 1968 it was under west Pakistan board that consisted of Sargodha and Multan and first ever exams were conducted in 1969.

It’s headquarter was shifted to 49-tail Sargodha in 1975 with its proper administration that is running it in proper way. This board has main function that is of conducting examination of 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class examination and also giving students with certificates. In the year 2005 Punjab education commission was formed that was with main purpose to conduct examination that is for 5th and 8th class after that these students get results. As these examination are not compulsory for 5th and 8th class not everyone appears in them.
